If you have access to spare equipment then some items may be very useful to us. We are generally well equipped but some items need replacement or repair from time to time. We also like to be able to donate health equipment to the local hospital or staff when possible.

Mastoid drill hand-pieces (e.g. Bien Air, Kavo), micro-scissors, middle ear curettes and similar micro-instruments are frequent needs.

We can give further details if you may be able to help.

Sometimes when your colleagues hear of your trip you may be offered larger items such as operating microscopes, surgical suctions, mastoid drill systems, audiometers, diathermy machines, flexible endoscopes, light sources, fibre-optic cables, pulse oxymeters. Please let us know about these because we do need them at times or may know of units in Nepal that can use them.
